‌The Ministry of Commerce of China has released the "Announcement on the Assessment Results of National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base in 2022", and the National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base (Petroleum Equipment) in Dongying District, Dongying City has successfully passed the assessment of the Ministry of Commerce.

Since its approval in 2019, the National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Base (Petroleum Equipment) in Dongying District has been relying on the advantages of characteristic petroleum equipment industry agglomeration to create a "Five in One" external trade integration development ecosystem of "characteristic industry cluster+cross-border e-commerce+international independent brands+overseas marketing network+first-class business environment", vigorously promoting foreign trade transformation and upgrading.

As of the end of 2022, there were 244 enterprises with import and export performance in the entire region, with an import and export scale exceeding 30.6 billion yuan, reaching a new high in history. The export proportion of enterprise owned brand products reached 19.2%.
